We have developed an web-based nurse training system for The Learning Clinic.
The system has been used in a research project led by Professor Bryony Dean Franklin, Director of the
Academic Pharmacy Unit of Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust to investigate the impact of online training
on medication error. The results, published in the 9th June 2005 issue of the Health Service Journal, show
that medication error was reduced by 30%. The more serious errors identified as "clinically significant"
reduced by 50%. A number of other NHS trusts are introducing the learning program.

We have developed an online training application targeted at the financial industry
for Financial Services Training Online based in Jersey. Staff learn new material,
access reference material and take exams online. Managers can view detailed information
on their staff's performance and set schedules and qualifications. The application
also handles all administration and content management functions.
Security of the data is of primary importance and all usernames and passwords in the database tables are encrypted
so even people with physical access to the server and database will not be able to view users' records
in the database.
